After about 12 years of impact and trailblazing, Gospel music and Christian entertainment platform, Gospotainment has changed its name to Gospelbuzz.
Speaking about the change of name, the Founder Mr Martins Okonkwo also known as Perry Martins shared that the change of name was inspired by the new team now in charge of the brand and the future that the organization wants to create in its role as a leading faith-based media firm in Africa.
He further stated that “it’s time for gospel media platforms to begin to build international partnerships that will complement the international collaborations that African gospel artists are already enjoying with their counterparts around the world”.
With the rebrand will come several international partnerships to help expand the frontiers of faith-based journalism.
Brief About Gospotainment
Gospotainment started in 2009 as a blog and has now grown the become a leading faith-based mass media firm with online radio, PR agency and Online TV plans. The brand has worked with so many artists and has partnered with several organizations in executing events and projects around Nigeria and Africa.
According to the Editor-in-Chief and team lead, Mr Kingsley Osayande, “with this rebrand, we want to take faith-based media to the next level and we are currently in talks with some partners in South Africa to build pan-African gospel music and Christian entertainment firm. We want to give the media space faith-based entertainment a truly African face”.
The firm assures all and sundry including their clients, patrons and subscribers that the rebrand is to deliver excellent publishing and programming service to them.
